Lost Pines Scout Camp

Troop 1913 went to Lost Pines Scout Camp the second week of June 2019, and it was awesome.

There were many classes like First Aid, Emergency Preparedness, Camping, Metalworking, and many more!

The staff gave us red water bottles that say Lost Pines on them.
The food there was really great. On Sunday night, a huge thunderstorm came by and we had to evacuate. A bolt hit our campsite and startled us all really bad. In the Dining hall, music was always playing. On Friday, "Sweet Caroline" was playing and everybody did the BUM BUM BUM!! We were having a great time.

Everybody was always playing chess in our campsite. Max and Austin were the two champs. The trading post was selling a magnetic chessboard with chess pieces. 2 people from our campsite bought it. We shared a campsite with Troop 876 and 1359 and got to know them better too.

The only problem with being outside so much is... mosquitoes. There were So. Many. Mosquitoes. I got over 10 bites and I think I got lucky. I know somebody who got over 70 bites!
All in all, Lost Pines was really fun. I can't think of anything that would have made this campout better. This was my favorite campout I've ever been on.
