There were around 20 people putting up flyers, and about 6 people collecting the food. Our troop collected approximately 800 pounds of food, and our district collected OVER 9000 pounds of food! When we picked up the food, it felt like we were saving lives.

Scouting For Food
On January 26th, Troop 1913 went around and put flyers for Scouting for Food on doors in Harmony, Woodson, and Lockridge. Scouting for Food is a service project to care for people in our local communities who are hungry and those in need. Scouts returned the following Saturday, February 2, 2019, to pick up and deliver donations to their local food banks and pantries.
